Some things just get better over time. Whisky, jeans, leather, personal judgement, but what about people? Specifically the physical signs of aging. Many women in the spotlight look “better” today that they did 10 years ago. Is it modern styling and a new level of sophistication or personal stylists and endless amount of money to spend on looking younger? All of the above? Turning 40 has been a test of my self acceptance on many levels. I don’t want to waste energy fretting about how old I look or to feel bad about looking old. That just seems like a colossal waste of time. I’m glad that my laugh lines are the most prominent lines on my face. At least people know that I’ve had a few good laughs along the way.
There are so many women over forty who are stylish, accomplished and inspirations to women of every generation. These are two of my favorite ladies who each have an abundance of personal style.
